Only Apparently Real

It is 1971 in San Rafael, California. Philip K. Dick is a struggling science fiction writer having a bad week. He’s trying to cope with an inevitable divorce, get over writer’s block, kick an amphetamine habit, and solve a crime before it actually happens.

Based on a true story, Only Apparently Real is the darkly funny tale of a paranoid writer going through a midlife crisis that quickly descends down the rabbit hole into a trippy, sometimes terrifying, mystery-in-reverse sci-fi K-Hole. Just like any good PKD novel.
